SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 2013

Hey everyone!

Comic Con is coming up this week!   I will have a table there in the Small Press area.  Table P10 to be more precise.   Check the map below.
Look, I made it easy for you to just find my table and avoid all the other comic con nonsense.

I will have all my prints, books, and zines i normally do plus I'll also have a few preview copies of the Vidiots book that I had specially printed up.    I've included some pictures (see below) if you're at the con you should stop by and take a look at the book.

I'll also have a new print run of the 123 Creatures and the Future Peeps zines.  I printed them out in color at 1984 printing on recycled printing with soy based inks.  I think they turned out really sweet

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

week of things!

This week was a very busy for me as far as public appearances. It all Started last weekend with Indy Euphoria in Sacramento. It was Sac-towns first Indy comic convention and unfortunately it was scheduled for the same weekend as an anime con, so it was really, really, really slow and lowly attended. But it was still a cool convention to do and i somehow managed to cover my costs of getting out there. Indy Euphoria was also held in this cool building, The Scottish Rite center, which i guess is an uber free-mason hangout. The second stop this week was the "into the ring, sumo style" art show that i did a piece for. Plenty of folks there and Free Saki made for a good time. and yesterday i went down to SLG headquarters for the second San Jose Comics Fest. Pretty cool little quarterly free comic con hosted by SLG. pictures below

Also Andrew Farago was kind enough to ask me to participate in the Bay Area Young Cartoonist Panel with some other cool artists on Sunday.

3:45-5:00 The Bay Area’s Young Cartoonists: 2008—Think the San Francisco comix scene hit its peak in the 1960s? Think again. Moderator Andrew Farago of San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum interviews Rina Ayuyang (Namby Pamby, Doodle Daze), Andy Hartzell (Fox Bunny Funny), Briana Miller (simple, still), Thien Pham (Thien Pham, Awesome), Andy Ristaino (The Babysitter), and Jason Thompson (Manga: The Complete Guide) about their comics and the ins and outs of the Bay Area creative community.
